Internship at NASA
As a Planetary Protection Intern at NASA Goddar Spaceflight Center through KBR Inc., I have participated in Back Planetary Protection research to successfully develop the Capture, Confinement and Retrieval System (CCRS) of Mars Sample Return project.
Mars Sample Return
Capture, Confinement and Retrieval System
Bringing samples from Mars is important in that they can finally tell the humanity about the question of whether any life forms could have possible existed at the planet. Capture, Confinement and Retrieval System (CCRS) ensures the procedures of successful and safe delivery of the samples from Mars to Earth.

01
Provide a Support to Other Teams in Assessing Their Results
Performed statistical analysis to identify key parameters that cause failures to given systems, and provided guidance to designing further tests
02
Communication With Other Teams
Discussed problems to the other teams at different NASA centers and coordinated to provide solutions to the problems.

03
Optimization of Finding the Best Low-fidelity Models
There are various UQLab's sets to be used for generating low-fidelity (LF) models of Muti-fidelity Global Sensitivity Analysis (MFGSA). The procedure of finding the option sets for LF models is optimized so that the accuracy of LF models is improved.
